Circle of Light Associates was founded in July 23, 1991 by Reverend Jeff Johnson Jr. and a group of concerned Christians who saw a need to strengthen and increase the quality of life in neighborhoods.  Initial efforts included helping the elderly with lawn care, snow removal and minor house repairs -- all completed by volunteers.  This program is still in place today.

Since then, COLA's outreach efforts has expanded to providing access to food through our food pantry, transitional housing for families, education and financial literacy, child care, adult daycare services, STEM programming and youth services, drug recovery & support, and sustainability efforts.

Circle of Light Associates (COLA) is a non-profit organization located in the Baden community.  COLA was formed with the commitment, desire, and dedication to enrich the lives of individuals and serve the less fortunate families in the St. Louis area by providing services in child and adult care, education, job readiness, catering, transitional housing, and social awareness.
